Yes, we see patients both in-person and via telehealth. Our telehealth appointments are through a HIPAA-compliant video platform. We will send you the link before the scheduled appointment.
We are currently only licensed in Massachusetts but are working on retaining licensure in Rhode Island. Out of state residents can be seen in-person or via telehealth when within Massachusetts state lines.
No, insurance requires you to be in the state of Massachusetts during your telehealth appointment. Please do not schedule visits while out of the state, as they will be canceled.
Yes! We currently accept Harvard Pilgrim, UHC, BCBS, Aetna, WellPoint, Wellsense Medicare and Tufts commercial and Public Plans. We accept Carelon, Optum and Point32 which some of these plans fall under. We hope to accept additional insurance providers in the future and will update this list then. Please check back for updates. You are required to keep a valid credit card on file when using your insurance. Copays and deductibles might apply and will be collected via autopay.

Yes, our fee is $425 for the initial visit and $195 for the follow-up visit. Your credit card will be charged automatically, 24 hours before your appointment.
You will receive an email to register for the patient portal. You will also have new patient paperwork and consents that will need to be signed/filled out at least 24 hours before your appointment to keep your appointment date and time.
When you book an appointment with us, we dedicate that full time to you; we never double-book. If you do not show up for your appointment or cancel with less than 48 hours' notice, you will be charged a fee of $100. Your insurance will not pay this fee, and you will be responsible for the full amount. This fee must be paid before your next appointment. If you have 2 missed appointments, you will be discharged from the practice.
We do prescribe some controlled substances on an individual basis. You must be able to attend in-person visits.
We care for patients across the lifespan (age 13+).
Call 911, 988, your local MCI team 877-382-1609, or go to the nearest emergency room. Healthy Minds Psychiatry is a solo outpatient practice, and we do not provide emergency care. We will do our best to get you scheduled for an appointment as soon as possible, but please take this into consideration when you inquire as a new client.
If you are a client who has been seen regularly for at least three months, we can discuss FMLA paperwork if your situation requires it. We do not fill out paperwork for permanent disability.
